  • Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position available at Rady Children's Hospital - San Diego.
  • Must work 2 out of 3 holidays (No Thanksgiving or Christmas RTO allowed).
  • Experience in a high acuity unit dealing with injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post-op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery.
  • Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice.
    • Job Requirements
    • CA license
    • 2 full years of recent independent PICU experience (PICU experience must be within the last year)
    • Willing to float between units (CVPICU & NICU)
    • BLS
    • PALS
    • Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 3x12 variable - must be flexible to work days or nights
      • Ratio: 1:1-2
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Summary: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery.
        • Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice.
          • Additional Details
          • Valid photo ID is required. Must have front and back copies.
          • Traveler must present on their first day.
          • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested.
