This is a full-time, salaried position based out of our Scripps
Corporate Office in La Jolla and will require travel to other sites
as needed. This position is Monday-Friday and will require the
flexibility to work after-hours for project completion as needed.

- Work under the supervision of the site Facilities Support
Management.
- Be responsible for capital funding management and project
management related to renovation of buildings and facilities at a
Scripps Health site(s).
- Direct and assist, in collaboration with facility design and
construction team, contracted personnel in the cost estimating,
planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance improvement
project work.
- Serve as the site liaison for facilities design and
construction projects.
- Study specifications to determine appropriate planning and
procedures for each project, including the schedule and staffing
requirements for each phase of the project.
- Serve as the liaison between the contracted workforce and the
applicable hospital departments.
- Collaborate with patient care departments to ensure safe work
practices with minimum interruption to services.
- Order tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to
conform with work schedules.
- Confer with and direct subcontractors engaged in planning and
executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and
coordinating various phases of the project to prevent delays.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to
specifications and that project and phasing schedules are adhered
to.
- Prepare reports on progress, materials used and costs.
- Adjust work schedules as indicated by reports.
