About the Position
The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, month-end close support, variance analysis and involvement with other FP&A functions as needed.
Location: Carlsbad, CA office -- Onsite/Hybrid scheduleHours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM PST
Essential Functions

  • Supports the forecast and budgeting process including managing key dates and deliverables with cost center owners, maintaining and standardizing templates.
  • Assists in the creation and development of efficient and accurate financial forecasting and budgeting tools and processes.
  • Analyzes monthly and quarterly results, key business metrics, and drivers of financial performance.
  • Provides accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting, including analytics to highlight areas for operational improvement, margin improvements, and cost savings.
  • Supports accounting close by reviewing variances to identify required accruals or adjustments.
  • Provides analytical support on other ad hoc and special projects basis as needed.
  • Accomplishes all tasks in a timely manner with accurate and complete documentation.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and FP&A team to help produce insightful, recurring reports and dashboards that provide actionable takeaways (trends, issues, and opportunity recognition).

      Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
      • 1-3 years of related experience in accounting and finance
      • Proficient Excel skills
      • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication, both written and verbal

          Pay range and Compensation Package
          Salary ranges may vary depending on location. The general hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 yearly salary. Actual compensation depends on education, experience and relevant skills.
